Core Mechanics
Phial Management
Charge phials through sword attacks, store them with R2+Circle, and unleash them through various axe mode attacks. Overcharged phials will cause your attacks to bounce.
Super/Ultra Burst
Super Amped Element Discharge (SAED) is your most powerful attack, consuming all phials for massive damage. Can be canceled into a regular AED for more controlled bursts.
Guard Points
Special blocking animations that provide increased guard capability and can lead directly into counter-attacks. Master these for optimal defensive play.

Pro Tips & Strategies
Phial Management
Keep your phials charged but avoid overcharging. Use sword mode to build charge safely, and store phials when your shield glows red.
Guard Point Timing
Practice guard point timings in the training area. The morph animation from sword to axe mode is the most commonly used guard point.
SAED Positioning
Position yourself carefully before unleashing SAED, as the attack has a long animation. Aim for the head with Impact Phials for potential KOs.
Shield Charge
Keep your shield charged for increased guard capability and access to SAED. Cancel an SAED into an AED by holding back and Triangle during the windup.
